How to make Traditional Food "Cireng" from Bandung

Ingredients :

• tapioca flour
• salt
• leek
• garlic
• pepper
• coconut milk
• water

Method :

1. First, prepare materials and tools

2. Second, cut the leeks

3. Next, blend the garlic

4. Add coconut milk, salt, pepper and garlic (which has been blended) to the pan, then cook until boiling

5. After that, the ingredients that have been cooked are mixed with tapioca flour and leeks

6. After mixed ,the shape of the dough small flat

7. Put the cireng into hot oil

8. And cireng is ready to eat

Cireng is a snack that comes from the Sundanese region which is made by frying the dough made from starch or tapioca flour. These snacks are very popular in the Priangan area, and are sold in various forms and variations in taste. This food is quite famous in the '80s. These foods consist of starch, flour, air, pepper powder, salt, garlic, soybeans, leeks and cooking oil.

Along with the times, cireng has developed a variety of flavors that complement the meat of chicken, beef, sausages, meatballs, cheese and teriyaki chicken. An example is Cimol. Now Cireng is not only available in Priangan, but has spread throughout the archipelago. Cireng, which was previously sold by traders who ride bikes with equipment, makes Cireng on the back of their bicycle, and has even been available online.
